Infection Control is crucial to patient survival rates AND to longer term revenue for Clinics. Without proper infection control procedures in place, patient mortality escalates and this decreases revenue streams for clinics. Also, many Clinics may not be aware that standards from state and federal surveyors have increased.
Visions for Care has a unique approach: We establish higher standards of access care, and roll out training for staff to ensure patient care and clinic revenues. Some of the patient care standards deal in the areas of:
- How accesses are cannulated and maturation pathways are followed and recorded
- PPE
- Hand washing
- Machine Cleanliness
- Equipment and Supplies allowed on the floor during each shift
- Requirements for items that need to be instantly available typically stored in drawers or cupboards
